On 7th April 2005, NSUCC in collaboration with Bangladesh Linux Users Alliance organized a basic workshop on Linux. We got a huge response from the NSU students regarding this workshop. But as the room capacity was limited, so only first fifty students were given the opportunity to participate in this Basic Workshop. It was mandatory for all the NSUCC members to participate in this workshop.

In this Spring 2006, North South University Computer Club has started their new program namely the “NSUers’ Development Program”. Dr. S. A. M. Khairul Bashar, Pro Vice Chancellor, North South University, Dr. Miftahur Rahman, Chairman, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Farruk Ahmed, Director, Information Services Department and Mr. K. Shajadul Hasan, Faculty Advisor, NSUCC, have shown deep interest and appreciation towards this approach of NSU Computer Club and have ensured every mean of support to make this event a huge success....
