The club provides the platform to all enthusiastic students to show their potentiality and develop leadership, cooperation and sustainability through teamwork and outside the box activities. The practice is smooth, organized and well maintained than any other student activity clubs of North South University.

Mission & Vision

Promoting ICT at North South University and thus groom future leaders of the IT industry, to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and to facilitate the development of skill sets that will enable members from all majors to make a seamless transition into a wide array of roles in technology.

Events/Activities

NSU Genius Hunt

A project exhibition and competition, is an annual event at North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The event is a pioneer and exclusive technological extravaganza to recognize talent and promote creative and tech savvy culture in our country.

NSU IT Expo

An inspiring digital lifestyle event that caters both to students and the ICT industry. It encompasses a learning platform packed with activities for the modern generation to get acquainted with the latest IT happenings and consumer electronic offerings in the market.

ICT Innovation Quest

A national competition among the young minds where they demonstrate ideas of how ICT can be used for the welfare of society. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world; therefore in this event, these young people will sketch ICT as a tool for E-Healthcare and E-Tourism.

Computer Programming Contest

NSU CPC is an annual multi-tiered computer programming contest held at North South University where participants from different universities form teams to participate in this contest. Last time, there were 52 teams and the event went international.

Workshops & Seminars

NSUCC organizes many workshops and seminars on a regular basis through out the year. During the last event at NSU IT Expo 2011, there were 2 workshops on Virtualization and WEBLogic and a seminar on Human Computer Interactions.

Facts About NSUCC

North South University Computer Club (NSUCC) is the only club in NSU, which tries to integrate the students with the ICT industry. Since 1994, NSUCC has been working for encouraging the students to serve their community and this university for promoting high ethical standards in technical, industrial, professional, public and private endeavors.

Being the most active & prominent club of NSU, NSUCC organizes regular programs like seminars, departmental orientation program and member development sessions throughout the semesters.
